Inspired by the breeze blocks that became popular in the 1950's and 60's, these cement blocks were not only beautiful decorative elements but they also provided homes with crucial shade and protection from the sun in the southwestern United States.
My version of these breeze blocks are cut from plexiglass, and are best hung in front of a window or near a light source, to best enjoy the effect of light through the material.
